I hear Panama is one of the few nations in Central America that is overall safe and easy to visit. The other one is Costa Rica, which honestly seems to be part country, party luxury resort. It seems thoug, that Panama is safe and decent but not terribly interesting. Apart from the canal and some jungle there is nothing really to see. Maybe there are better places in Albania, I don't know. The people were nice, no complaints there. It's sad to see Albanians ruining the natural beauty of their coast the same way us Bulgarians did in the last 30 years by overbuilding with no regard for aesthetics. Albania is an amazing choice. The Albanian alps in the North are gorgeous and taking the Lake Koman Ferry has been one of my favourite travel experiences in South Eastern Europe. The South has amazing beaches as well. Tirana as a city is cool and has an interesting vibe but overall I wouldn't go to Albania for the "city life". High crime rate among Albanians and people see Serbia as a closer friend and/or see Albania as some kind of Turkish puppet. 5. itaching. •. Right it's a long story.
